BARTEK Company has worked intensively to enlarge the chain of stores for several years, as well as widening the variety of products offered in our shops. Seventy per cent of the products, offered in our shops, are Bartek shoes and thirty per cent are the products of other companies we cooperate with. We put a lot of effort to enlarge the offer so that the products we sell are of the highest quality. In our stores, customers can also buy shoes of another company which is of excellent quality. Other products included are slippers, PUMA and GEOX trainers, Columbia shoes, Wellington shoes, socks, hats, bags, backpacks and balms for the care of products. In larger shops, we offer exclusive collections of T-shirts, blouses and trousers. BARTEK emphasizes care, comfort and a friendly atmosphere. Friendly surroundings encourage future customer’s visits. Professionalism and friendliness, of our staff, is our mission.

When we speak of BARTEK shoes, we think of comfort and the healthy development of children… …it has been our principle for over 20 years. During this time, we have gained enormous experience and trust of parents. We are continuously working to maintain that trust. BARTEK shoes are designed by specialists for whom getting to know the child’s developmental needs is a passion. While designing footwear, a range of protective and preventive aspects should be taken into consideration, in particular the flexibility of shoes, its lightness and appropriate positioning of the heel. We are constantly developing our shoes to better fit the anatomy of children’s feet. In BARTEK, every year we make 300 models of shoes in a various colours. These are all original designs developed in cooperation with experts from various fields to guarantee the highest utility value. In the production of our brand’s footwear, we use natural materials, and every year we upgrade the technologies and introduce innovations that are available on the footwear market.

One size fits today. As tempting as it might be, don’t buy bigger shoes for the months ahead. Shoes that are too big are hard to walk in and can cause falling and tripping (i.e. drunken sailors on the loose). According to Ross Taubman, DPM, a podiatrist in Clarksville, Maryland, “It’s really important to find shoes that fit properly when she’s learning to walk  otherwise, she could stumble and take longer to develop the skill.”

Toddler feet can also vary up to half a size, so opt for the larger foot’s size. Kids’ feet grow like weeds, so measure again in a few months. One of my favorite shoe companies, also lists toddler shoe sizes by inches. Handy to know, because age and size can be a crapshoot.
