When we speak of BARTEK shoes, we think of comfort and the healthy development of children… …it has been our principle for over 20 years. During this time, we have gained enormous experience and trust of parents. We are continuously working to maintain that trust. BARTEK shoes are designed by specialists for whom getting to know the child’s developmental needs is a passion. While designing footwear, a range of protective and preventive aspects should be taken into consideration, in particular the flexibility of shoes, its lightness and appropriate positioning of the heel. We are constantly developing our shoes to better fit the anatomy of children’s feet. In BARTEK, every year we make 300 models of shoes in a various colours. These are all original designs developed in cooperation with experts from various fields to guarantee the highest utility value. In the production of our brand’s footwear, we use natural materials, and every year we upgrade the technologies and introduce innovations that are available on the footwear market.

Size does matter. Before you lunge online to order your toddler’s first shoes, start with knowing the right size. Take a trip to an actual kid’s shoe store and have your toddler’s tootsies measured by a trained specialist (or someone masquerading as one). Make sure to look out for devious curled toes that can throw off a measurement and remember to try on shoes with socks (an obvious mistake that I made).

Make sure you also pay attention to the W I D T H of your child’s feet, as many little ones tend to have fat little cherub feet. Shoes that run wide are denoted below.
